Liability and Barges.
Will a boat need a Professional Marine Survey? - This is a question we
receive almost daily and the answer is not cut and dry. A boat will typically
need a survey if it is greater than 10 years old and greater than $20,000 in
value, or longer than 24'. Yachts and High Performance boats will need a survey
if they are over 7 years old. All wood boats will need a survey.
